I have to agree here. This is not a lighthearted manga. If the thought of "girls = objects = owned", shitty rapist men, female abuse, incredible levels of gender discrimination, any level of NTR (guys can steal "ownership" of girls by beating other guys), an incredibly naive and over idealistic MC that (almost intentionally) remains ignorant in the face of serious shit and terrible tragedy, or anything attached to any of those, LEAVE HERE AND DON'T COME BACK.

But if you make it past the first 7 or so chapters, the story lightens up. Barely. Not really. I have no idea if I want to keep going or not. You've been warned twice.

Eh, it was a decent story. It starts off exactly as you'd expect it to. Men are the bad guys, gotta save the girls. No, there's no NTR. There's not even any sexual content aside from aspects of girls fawning over the main girl. It's pretty black and white. But as it goes, it becomes less black and white and becomes muddled in what's really right and wrong. Along with other contrived things some may consider to be "tropey". All in all, it was 6/10. There's some drama and expected 'evils' one would expect from morally removed fukbois, but it's nothing super heavy. No one gets raped. No one dies. There's one or two assaulters, but it never goes into gore or even blood.

Don't make mountains out of mole hills.

There is no NTR in any part of the manga, beware with the crazy people and the obsesed people, the discrimination part is just a little thing in the manga, mostly you only see the baka mc trying to rush thing, read with attention to not make the mistake to see NTR where is not

I think I get what the author wanted to make, but they went at in in a really clumsy way. I don't think the manga deserves terrible reputation it has on certain circles, but it definitely could have been handled better.

It's... okay.

I can see where the mangaka is going, but the journey there is hit and miss.

The art is pretty good overall.

honestly I remember reading this the first time and going "I didn't understand shit but hey there's a yuri couple in the end"

now that I'm a bit older and understands the story fully, I absolutely agree that this is shit. It started off with a weird and shocking premise of "girls" = "objects owned by boys" and it ended with "boys are just misunderstood" and "no one is truly evil here", even though only a few boys feel remorseful for being shitty human, AND even those who feel bad STILL DID BAD THINGS.
Like, a guy was actively torturing girls, IS WELL-KNOWN to torture girls, had tortured one of the main girls, had tortured so many people that filled the entire infirmary of the school, and yet we're supposed to feel sorry for him because check notes he did it for good???

And that's one of the named characters. I'm not even gonna talk about the mob, because they were actively abusing girls and tried to rape the main girls at least twice. Hell, the mob even beat up the MC because she asked a question (no this is not a joke, it happened in chapter 4).

But hey, some of the boys felt bad for being abusive so we should forgive them all, right!?

Edit: also the yuri is kinda stupid. We got yuri-harem-bait the entire time, but in the end nearly all the girls end up with guys (and some of those guys were the ones who tortured them btw).

Wow, what a load of ass of an ending. I get what author was going for here, but... wow...
The fact that he shipped girls with their torturers was such a piece of shit move.
There is very few male characters that deserved any redemption, and I'd rather see the main cast dating random npc's than them.
