Still wild that their father's just....MIA on all of this.
They're kids. They're sheltered, too--they had the truth behind the premise of the series dropped on them and then their billionaire father just Nope'd out and fucked off to Whereversville for 60 chapters and left them to figure it out on their own, when it's clear that they're not equipped or educated on how to "conduct" themselves in a way that won't see the public go apeshit every time one of the swears or gets caught with their (thankfully currently proverbial) pants down.
They should have some amount of coaching and handling and Minimal Adult Supervision that can help them figure out best practices to deal with what's quickly becoming a media catastrophe. They shouldn't have to deal with any of this bullshit, and just live their lives, but the fact is the sensationalism is only going to skyrocket and make life very, very hard for all of them now. To the point I wouldn't be surprised if they all just sit at home, stop going to school, send their maid/mom out to get supplies, and simply lock down & in.
That would honestly be the response I'd have in their shoes.
But, Reiji won't allow that, of course--but I'll be damned if this feels almost unbelievable, because of how much is being expected of a group of effectively-adolescents with zero support base.
It's great for the melodrama of it all. But this is the sort of thing that'd push one of them to suicide, as I'm amazed that all that's happened thus far is rumormongering and paparazzi-style photos being posted to the Internet. Like...Minami would have to be wary leaving the house for the corner store now, lest she get accosted and harassed for the photo that was taken of them without their consent and plastered all over the 'Web (of minors, no less).
Shit's just dumb, and they're gonna have to just weather it all on their own.
