It's kind of weird that the author made such a cool MC and also wrote opa:kanakori opa: XD

I understand the MC is confused. Until recently, he lived peacefully with his sisters, and suddenly he's surrounded by romantic interests.

and just hope he chooses someone (regardless of whether it's the one I like), harems are pretty lazy.

What’d be interesting is if the author did different stories for alternate endings. So after he chooses a person and the author decides to end sometime later, then he could do another timeline from some time before his decision but different girl. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone do that in a manga, but it’d be interesting

Just saying... Kotono loved our MC first way before anyone else. She was willing to get with him even when they both thought they were blood siblings. I know who I'm rooting for.

She is also the only one that had some. Interesting dynamic going on being shy but still gutsy and forward about her feelings for Arata.
All the other girls are keeping shit secret because they aren't brave enough to be open about it and frankly... None of them had an arc more interesting that the little date Kotono had with Arata.
That's also part of the reason why this series has me hesitant, I'm almost sure the winner is gonna be the annoying not-twin tsundere sister, yet Kotono it's the clearly better sister

Now that everything's set up, would be fun if he did sort of an inverse Kanokari. Before chapter 100, dated all of them and decides to become the head of the company with his five wives. Dad and Shion doing nothing except their minor side roles and cheering them on.

Besides her being hot how can You like the objectively worst girl in the whole series?
Her whole arc just let her as a dumbass with minus zero IQ that let herself be victimized by an asshole for no reason whatsoever.

Don't forget the mindset of "I'm the oldest so I have to be willing to endure whatever it takes to protect my younger siblings, even if it means sacrificing my own future and happiness."

Someone sacrificing themselves for the sake of their loved ones is a cute thing... When theres an actual need for it.
Lets remember they arent elementary schoolers, as kids usually would be more cruel about shit like a kid being adopted. Kotono, the youngest, is already 15-16. So what necesity there was of Banri "protecting" them? She just put herself on a position of being blackmailed and abused needlessly by an asshole just to keep the secret that they arent blood-related. Something that is an objective and undeniable truth that will come to light eventually. Especially as this series wants to pair Arata with one of the girls, so unless they want people to believe they are incestuous, he and his future girlfriend/wife will need to come clean about it sooner than later.
So again, Banri let herself be molested for no reason. And if Arata hadnt realized who knows how bad it would have gotten. In the end she is just an idiot.
And considering she stayed behind, I feel this isnt the end of her stupidity and she is going to go and talk with the glasses creep again, or he is going to arrive at the house to harass her while everyone is out.

I'm almost sure that Kotono is going to be Arata's real sister, so I wouldn't get my hopes up with her.

Is it wrong to say they are gaslighting Kotono? They tell her what she’s doing is not real feelings and they go out of their way to remove her from situations where she’s around Arata, but then they go behind her back and do the same thing? Maybe it’s just me tho

Putting everything aside for now just to say this but damn. Imagine telling someone you care about, who just got out of a toxic relationship, to just date another random person who they don't even love/know right after they told you they love you.
I get he's in a dilemma since all of the sisters he used to care for as sisters have come out saying they love him but still.

Insensitive yes, but he is scared, confused, totally freaking out inside, and trying to deflect. So, I would say it's understandable.

That actually makes her the worst from my perspective. She's the only one who caught feelings while she thought they were blood siblings. This whole thing is a guilty pleasure for me because it's kind of sketchy, but it's the worst with her.

I've seen only one story do that. Bokuben. I would absolutely love to see it again though. I have reread the ending of Bokuben like 10x more than I have revisited any other story's ending because it's just so satisfying to see every girl get their own ending.

Honestly, I think Kotono is the worst sister. Not that she's a bad person, but that I don't think she's a well written character. She's the only sister who has nothing going on beyond her crush on her brother. Literally, the crux of her story arc was that all she has going for her is that she's cute. She's been crushing on Arata for years because he told her that's enough, and... well... I disagree with Arata there.

The others all have lives totally separate from the harem situation. Banri has her aspirations of becoming a nurse who helps kids the way she once experienced as well as her responsibilities as the oldest sister. Seiha is a super genius, top of her class, and everyone is watching to see what college she'll choose while she's struggling to figure out how to handle regular human emotions. Minami is the tomboy tennis star with the exceedingly bright personality. Ouka has student politics, track, swimming, top 5 level grades iirc, and a lot of people these days don't like tsundere, but I typically find it hilarious.

With Kotono on the other hand, there's just nothing there. She is the least interesting character to me because her story is explicitly that she has nothing going on beyond being cute. In a quite literal manner, she needs to get a life, so that she can develop as a person. The way Minami did during the whole tennis tournament arc. It'll be difficult to grow if her entire existence is wrapped up exclusively in Arata. So, I would really not enjoy it if she won. Personally, my favorites are Seiha and Minami, but I know the frontrunners to win are probably Ouka and Kotono.

Seiha - most interesting
Minami - most fun (also the sweetest)
Banri - most entertaining
Ouka - most average female rom-com lead
Kotono - most bland (seemingly by design, which is weird)

Even dad couldn't name something special about her, so I hope that means the mangaka is working towards something beyond 'I am cute and shy and naked why won't you bang me'.

Unfortunately this is the the same guy who made multiple dead end and useless stories in RaG either because he forget about them or couldn't think a way to implement it so he abandoned it. Well, at least he can't go below my hopes.
