Thank you so much for this chapter!
By the way, here's a fun trivia:
On page 31, what's translated as "public office" is お役所 (oyakusho). This manga is titled 死役所 (Shiyakusho), which is a play on 市役所 (shiyakusho), which is a term meaning City Office, they just switched the 市 (City) with 死 (Death).

thanks for the chapter

first time ever seen someone literally translated "Namu amida butsu" like that...
Idk who Ferric is, but tell him he should have left those untranslated, as people irl do chant it like that. Translating it is even weirder.

Ok that's a bit too deep for me. They actually humanised that bastard. Still think the punishment is just ( he literally killed 3 people) but then the issue lies with who should be the one doing the killing since it's a really heavy burden.

I think this is why the killing of death row convicts should be handled by people who are neutral.

Neither of the two guards were completely right in their views. The convict is still a human, neither wholly good or evil as most humans are, but he still needed to pay the price for his actions. Especially since there is no way to ever reverse the impact of a death.

It should be law first with justice being served as a bonus.

Well, ideally, if systems weren't corrupt.
