Shizuko Is My Bride - Vol. 3 Ch. 12

Thanks to all the readers for following this.

I noticed one interesting thing about it: It has surprisingly little character development, especially when compared to "Taishou Otome Otogibanashi", which is all about the character development (mainly Tamahiko, also others).

Shizuko learns to love Shuri, but she doesn't change at all. Shuri has a few epiphanies, but his personality never really seems to change either.

Curiously, the only character who has a real arc is Usawaka.

I'm not saying this is a problem. It's just an interesting observation.

@SpectrumDT I feel like that makes sense though, Shuri is quite literally set in stone and the memories of Shizuko's past life and his persistence win her over, while Celestial Emperor only knows what Usawaka had been up to for the past millennium.
