Yeah it kind of felt like a whole volume or of content was skipped that would happen before the academy ending with the end of volume about to enter. I don't know though is there an original source or is the manga original

Yeah they needed a couple of chapters at least before entering the academic arc that we see too often I especially wanted to see interactions with this fiance they have now become on good terms set up flags and events your typical oblivious MC with doting wife moments to build up the relationship otherwise it feels a bit rushed

I agree they needed a couple of chapters of events to set it up and her wanting the engagement to be back on and go into her reason why then he would have as well I guess it stops my dead flags with her
