This relatively lighthearted, practically slice-of-life chapter helps take the edge off this series a bit. I don't mind the edgy stuff, though. Also this reminded me that his territory isn't merely filled with undead and demons; I forgot that elves, demi-humans and humans all continue to live in his domain, so long as they uphold their oath of loyalty to him, they can keep living their daily lives like usual.

Who's this new scientist lady? Seems we're getting a new character, huh.

anyway it's just my weird ass but i kinda connected this with that one old revenge manga with succubus except instead of sparing the engineer's life the MC killed her instead (kinda made the connection since the saintess battle just because)

Ironically he’s already built a utopia. It’s not warfare that makes peace, it’s a strong policy of unity, and reward for opportunity. Perhaps at the end of the story, the moral of it may be that just as he’s defeated he realised that humans are a bunch of fuck ups, and that what he achieve inadvertently as the demon lord in his own territory was a small realisation of his ideals.

I also think this is the direction the story is going in.
