Okay, I get that I'm not attracted to men, but I'm truly lost on how she's so down bad. That advice he gave her isn't just basic advice. It's basic life. Like no one has to teach you that. As a baby and toddler it's what you instinctively go through to learn basic motor functions.
At the end of this chapter... what did he say to make her happy? That he'd cover their lunch? He didn't even directly answer her question and call her cute. I'm just lost here. I'm supposed to be rooting for this couple? The obtuse boring man with a gacha addiction and the young literally legal teenager (post 18 but pre 20) who is incredibly energetic and full of life and seemingly putting all that towards this also seemingly one sided crush? From the premise I though the male lead was going to encourage her self improvement (which would know show he remembers the conversation they had) or that the female lead would learn from having such a passionate crush and channel that towards her next stage in life. Though hey, maybe I'm misreading the situation and she's still in college. But it currently seems like she was at a crossroads in high school, was told she needed to work harder, and then inexplicably fell in love hard with the first moderately attractive guy that gave her reasonable advice and then she shaped her future after chasing him. Which... yeah I don't feel too good about. I guess the story is still getting its bearings, but it largely feels like this is the foundation and expected formula for each "arc" (few short chapters).
