Interesting set of chapters. I had missed the updates(three chapters, to be more precise), so I couldnt review each of them, but oh well, let me do a tiny resume.
I was correct(yes!). People online started debating over Shinome's-sensei status as a possible goddess due to her predictions(and crazy reactions started appearing, like "let's the burn down the publisher"), and Aiko's devotion was too intense even for her insecure co-worker. This will probably grown into a real, if informal, religion territory pretty soon.
The evil editor still wishes to manipulate the events... I wonder why. It doesn't seem to be merely for the money he could get through the media coverage, but rather, maybe he wants something beyond that. If I were to compare it, if Shinome is a Goddess, then maybe he is the devil, the antithesis to her existence, if you will.
Aiko was sweet, but she also is pushing Mao so she can find out who is Nao. Interesting indeed. Eventually, she will find out the truth, of course... However, there is also the possibility that Nao might be willying to pull one over the publisher and Mao, by treating Shinome's-sensei fans like crap so they might get dissapointed with her or something. Aiko would obviously become highly depressed and could do something reckless like hurting herself, and this might trigger Mao into confessing the truth, so she could save her. Just a small theory, but we shall see if it has any merit.
Ah, Aiko... If you only knew that you are the one indirectly hurting your friend.
And Mao... How difficult must be to become jealous of your own self?
Amazing.
