I am 100% disappointed in this chapter. In the novel he chops of this guy's head after he gets the info. Also in the novel he gets the information by stabbing him in the thigh and healing it. Side note he recognized MC as also being one of the summons before he cuts off his head.

Then when he enters the beastmen autonomous zone

There is an army of thousands stationed outside the town. MC realizing he wont be able to break the siege sees the command post and attacks it. Kills the soldiers there and takes the General Hostage forcing the army to retreat back to the captured capital.
