I wasn't entirely sure what was going to happen. I'm a little disappointed that it's just a "match"... The "hero" would of literally committed genocide towards any "non-human" just because a pretty girl told him to, with that type of mental. It's always weird to see them "Oh, maybe I shouldn't of done that." .... I hope the MC at least puts the hero and his "princess" to shame.

Mc won't even need to deal with the hero to put an end to the war. He's more of the tactic type and won't exert needless power or go on a rampage like some of the guys here imagine/want him to be. Heavy spoiler ahead.

The match is at the dungeon near the border of the two nations. At first, it's about the two selected teams from each nation competing over who will capture the dungeon first (with abnormal high level monsters busting out). Then some bastards of high ranking in the enemy's army can't accept they lost to mc's team, so they propose a match to gain back the dungeon core, which is of high value (not that mc really wants it, but a value treasure like that can tribute much to the country who just has suffered from a war). The hero is their representative, yes he blindly follow "order" again. At first he has tried to conceal the fact that he is the hero, but eventually has to bring out his full strenght yet still loses. He manages to damage the mid tier sword of mc, but that's about it. He's still slacking many things. After that match, surely there will be some developement for the hero, but sadly, the author has dropped it. No updates since start of the year.
