@solonit ah... I see where the problem is. if you see at pg 23 topmost panel, you'll see that Murmike (Mur-St.Michael) bridge trademarks is is the existence of wall between 2 towergate. what I thought maybe some sort of gatehouse. and if you take a look at pg 24 bottommost panel, you'll see that Murmike bridge is destroyed, as shown with how close those 2 towergate seems. and add to that, Zaganos Army is mounted and carry massive wooden board. now they cannot get into the city which is what started all of my questions before. however, Mahmut's men don't use Murmike bridge to get into the city. they use Venedik's ship. so it matter little whether or not Murmike bridge is destroyed.
and if you take a look at pg 26 topright panel, you'll see that there's no wall between 2 towergate. THIS IS DIFFERENT BRIDGE than Murmike bridge. and if you take a good look, Mahmut's men don't ride in a horse and carry massive wooden board.
you'll see that Murmike bridge is destroyed on pg 24 bottom most panel, and you'll see that Inner bridge (to castle) is also destroyed in pg 27. BOTH BRIDGE IS DESTROYED. not just one as shown in your layout. it's by no means a cynical move since Turkiye forces managed to get inside the city. should there's no Mahmut's men, there's no need to destroyed the inner bridge too.
