It's optional, but you'll look like a diligent person if you do it. Most groups skim over stuff like that though, unless they really love the series.

Japanese ToCs rarely align with English ones, so I suggest it's better to just form your own if you really can't. Otherwise you'd have to shrink your text and it won't become readable at all

People usually appreciate it and it's fun to get the perspective of the author. It's very much something that authors and publishers get more annoyed about though because the main incentive to buy the volumes over just reading the chapter for free each week online is for the exclusive volume content.
