Major reason why I like this isekai is that the mc doesn't speak the other world language automatically from the start, his repertoire slowly increase with most common words he hears, like someone slowly learning a language by immersion.

Now that mc noticed juno is feeling depressed over how close his crush is with the big guy, mc really only has one recourse. Protect juno's feelings and make him happy by making her not pair up with big guy, by sleeping with her first and having her move in as the first member of his harem! That way both the bros should be happy (big guy too, as even if he has a crush too he gets to see the girl fancy the mc instead. It's only right that girls fancies foreigner mc's!)!

I like that part, but he's so infuriating about it. Even now he's super insistent on his hermit kind of life and yet relies so much on other people.
Like, LEARN THE LANGUAGE ALREADY, or more like, TRY at least. Cuz he said he actively keeps the barrier cuz he doesn't want to incorporate, and yet his life would be so much better if he at least tried to communicate a little better so he doesn't miss context on whatever's going on around him.

I praised the decision to show how he was slowly just catching important stuff about their interactions, but he keeps avoiding actually trying to communicate with people who he's so close with already, and it's clearly not like he can't learn the language either, apparently. I'd take super broken speech but 3/4 of the way to knowing what others say, but i want him to progress

Yeah it makes no sense that the language barrier is his incorporating mechanism specially as he has to communicate with them anyway for items or when forced out on subjugations by the lord of the land. Like if he wanted real hermit hours he'd be literally nowhere near civilization.

I'm actually happy that for once a MC isn't surrounded by girls who all want on the dick. Also that she isn't interested in him too so thats neat. I wonder if he'll eventually get a love interest though.

I just realized something.

The MC is basically setting himself up for the biggest misunderstanding of his life.

So the MC basically wants to be a farmer. Grow his food and live off the land.

To his friends, the MC seems like a skilled merchant/practicing adventurer. He sells them goods that are much more valuable at a descent price and he pays the guild a much better wage than anyone in the town.

BUT, to the nobles and strangers who don't know him: what does he look like? A Farmer? A farmer living off the land of monsters?! NOPE! This guy has weapons and potions and skills that are beyond human!

To the outside, he looks like a Wizzard or an Alchemist! Someone who makes these amazing potions, poisons and weapons in seclusion because he is protecting his secrets!

Basically this story is the meme of: "What he sees. What they see." Or "Expectations vs Reality".

I love that the fact that he refuses to learn the language means that this misunderstanding will haunt him the rest of his life.
