It's kinda hard to feel like I care about his redemption, he caused alot of deaths, perma injuries and lifelong issues with how he acted. Sure he can ask for forgiveness from the people but for me his sins are too numerous that I'd ever think well of him again.

It's too late to take back what's been done. The fact he's manning up to them and setting out to make it right is big. It'll never be enough to those he's caused harm to but he can at least make a difference for those still suffering. What a neat redemption arc. I hope author explores this more in further .5 chapters.

This pleases me - a redemption arc that doesn't feel superficial. It feels like he's truly turning over a new leaf and is regretful and remorseful of his actions. He understands he can't change what he did and that some will not forgive him, but he's making the effort to honestly change and move forward. That is by no means an easy feat and I applaud him and the mangaka. :3
