I don't know HOW she reached that conclusion lmao

if I saw komaki and wakaba in real life I don't think I could ever tell that they liked each other, and even if I could, I doubt I would want them to be together is some toxic relationship... matsuri is absolutely in her right to break these 2 off instead of cheering them on like that

Alright. Loved this chapter. Matsuri recognizing that she wasn't really in the running, as much as wants to be. Wakaba realizing her feelings a bit. I enjoy helpful characters like that, especially when they realize they don't have as much of a shot as they'd like.

As for the fighting between Komaki and Wakaba, we see it quite frequently in Japanese media that fighting between loved ones is often seen as an indication of deep love for someone; the ability to be your honest self and ignore societal masks seems to be seen as something you only do with the ones you truly care for and feel comfortable around.

I understand that idea and don't disagree with it most of the time. This situation seems to be an extension of that, and what Matsuri likely saw. Besides, we know the two of them love each other anyway. It's a bit dramatized since it's a dramatic romance manga but I wish them well.

Losing heronie shotting herslef in the foot because komaki is one of the worst love interests ever so we have to make up for it somehow. Honestly if they absolutely needed to have komaki get together with wakaba then atleast i wouldve liked for that to come from within.
Thanks for the chapter

Independently how it turns out between Komaki and Wakaba, Matsuri and Wakaba are perfect for each other, no wonder someone gets extremely jealous every time! :smugnako::smug:

Guess MC really is a giant masochist 🥲..

There is virtually no reason for her to love Komaki otherwise, she hasn't done a single nice thing for her, she's been tormenting her since forever starting with the person mc liked or whatever, meanwhile best girl here is actually trying to connect, honestly don't want her to end up with Komaki, she's been a genuine A-hole and nothing else

This just shows that they deserve each other and Matsuri %100 deserve better. When triangles resolved for the favor of worst girls, it always makes me glad since best girls obviously don't deserve to be stuck with a blind mongoloid who just likes abuse.

Thought this was going to be a "we're getting a love triangle" chapter not a "this series is getting axed" chapter
It's not being axed. This is an adaptation of a series of novels and is going exactly as they went. Deviating would upset fans anyway and it's not having issues otherwise. If anything, it's added scenes throughout.

What Komaki did was nothing short of abusive—this time especially worse because she actually got other people involved, instead of the usual things they've done that were well within the confines of her deal with Wakaba. She actually threw away Matsuri's gift. That was crossing a very clear line.

I really hated that Wakaba ignored all the existing problems by saying that she was more hurt by hurting Komaki rather than what Komaki had done to her last chapter. That was a terrible conclusion she arrived upon with Matsuri. I really can't tell if it's just because of the medium, but this turnabout felt almost like the author just wanted to use "well human emotions are difficult and often don't make sense!" to justify sweeping all the inherent problems in the writing of the two protagonists under the rug.

I don't hate yuri with abusive relationships, I just don't like how this one was written.
