as informed before, the world he currently live is actually the remake of the game he has played before
the reason why he specifically isekaied into the remake ver, because he is indeed NOT the main character and the god actually not granting his wish
but the god actually granting the wish of the high-school girl he tried to save from the truck-kun

the high-school girl he tried to save actually is a miko that worship some kind of god and she's been doing that everyday (she live a monotone life because her parent order her to do so)
the moment when her sister finally able to work as miko, the high-school girl finally have a day-off to play a game with her fujoshi friend, and that game is the remake ver of B&B which called Brave & Blade Girls Plus

the main difference of the remake ver of the game with the OG is you can use female character as the main character and you can play using supporting job, this mean the main character in the remake ver does not have to be the one who wielding the hero sword, but she has the role to grant any character in the party with the hero sword
from here you can see that the remake ver of the game try to cater with the otome-game market

since she's not a good gamer, she's been stuck in the prologue part of the story and her friend is actually not a good gamer too since the game is too punishing
after playing the game, this come the prologue of the story where she met with the mc before getting truck-ed
the reason why she got truck-ed because she actually see the mc phone where he browsing the news of the B&B remake and she wanted to talk with mc about the game
the moment when mc tried to save her remind her with the Rex who always tried to help the at the beginning of the game (and thus Rex become her favorite character)
