I can totally see it.

Kissing is a lot more intimate than the other stuff that they have done for a lot of people and can be seen as a true sign of affection in some cultures (where others it can be a simple greeting). So, I can weirdly see them being "shy" about kissing...especially when they both think that they are not into each other AND that the other party is not into them.

It is also nice to see them be a very nice and happy family. What Noah said on stage does not seem to be a lie at all and in fact we already know that she actually loves her dad, but because she takes after her mother she can't just be honest about it.

Kissing causes women body to release hormones that are specific to them and it makes them feel more connected and loved, thats why kissing can be like brainwashing for women and it is the reason sometimes women find themselves in hard situations like even if she is treated bad she still endures it just bc of that or she wants to break up but cant make herself do it at the end. So yeah as far as i know kissing is really one of the most intimate actions even compared to just ducking.
