Well that was surprisingly easy. Kinda anti-climactic. How did this guy end up acting all high and mighty.

To be fair, the main character was a pretty powerful Dragon Slayer that used to go toe to toe with Dragons trained for war before getting captured by the Silver Dragon Queen. This guy is probably more powerful than most other dragons, but ultimately relies too much on his natural talent as a noble, meaning he's nothing compared to better trained individuals. He also thought he was up against a commoner level dragon that wouldn't normally be so strong and was thus caught off guard when his opponent proved to be much more capable than expected. I imagine the situation is like an intermediate and talented martial artist challenging some that seems to be a beginner, only to find out they're a master 🤔

Dragon Queen just has high expectations, I mean, she's literally comparing his peak performance to his average while still in recovery (something he can't properly do because she drains him before he can every other night 😂)

I think it's less that he's embarrassingly weak and more that Leon is just that strong. The only other person we've had to compare him to is the very same person who captured him in the first place, so it's been hard to tell how strong he truly is until this point 🤔

I considered that since they have their own hierarchy within their clans, I assumed he would be as strong at our dragon queen since he dared act so impertinently.

That's why he went after the "weak" husband since he knew he wouldn't stand a chance against the queen

Well yeah. Though, usually when you see feuding clans in such stories, they’d only dare so when they have equal or more power and not act impertinent to any member of a stronger family. This guy’s fam thought they’re on par or something lmao so the raised expectations made it funnier.

Huh, didn't notice that injury. Can't decide if it's a burn from the flames or if it's more an issue of him injuring himself by punching with too much force since he isn't completely back to top form 🤔

I think is jealousy since noah was closer to her and aimed to be like her mother.
Also the catastrophe of leon been found out as human is looming closer
