He's clearly lost the vast majority of his strength, though I cannot be clear on the details. As for his lack of critical thinking I have no explanation other than perhaps, age (according to his history in chapter 2), he shouldn't be very old, likely not yet an adult.

Well, yes, I was thinking of that as well. The main difference is:
1. Mammoths are not even bigger, flying, dinosaurs with iron-plates for skin that can breathe fire and cast magical spells.
2. They were hunted as a group, not by a single person

And the options you listed are possible, but either way, that also shows that the author didn't care to really explore that aspect of the setting.
The MC is just supposed to be a super stronk, super competent hunter -- but he sure doesn't seem to act that way at all.

Yeah, it is looking a little like plot holes and poor character writing, but maybe it's best not to think too deeply when looking at the plot of a manga that's clearly just the author wanting a dragon Dommy mommy manga.

Twins, most likely. Muen has inherited human blood in strong amount hence, the lack of tail and her airheaded personality and the other twin has inherited strong dragon blood since she has a tail like her mother.

Compare how he is now to the first chapter. He was in chains, covered in bruises and facing death and he still had the pride necessary to mock the queen.

yeah, he doesn’t have a sword, but he had even less when he was chained up in the dungeon in the beginning and yet he was far more stoic then. He fainted like a bitch when he saw that he burnt his hand 3 chapters later.

Which is also after 2 years of being in a coma and muscle atrophy in addition to the strenuous day he'd been through immediately following waking up from the coma. It would be more shocking if he was in a stable enough state to keep going at that point(also my suspension of disbelief would allow for it but that's what requires it not the passing out from exhaustion)

I get him not liking her in general but why is he so mad about her being strict? It would be different if she is overly strict but it's not like she did any horrible things to her daughter, she had never even raised her voice towards her. She is strict but not that much, spoiling her too much like MC seems to be expecting her to do is worse in my opinion. Especially since she is the daughter of a queen and she needs to know how to conduct herself in the future so she doesn't have problems leading their people(Well, at least I assume she would be leading the dragons, given she's basically a dragon princess). It feels like he is just childishly nitpicking all her actions. Which is unnecessary, there are quite a lot for him to fight her over, like I don't know, how she r*ped him multiple times already and how she was trying to kill those troops? Why fight her over something which she is (as far as I've seen) doing quite well at instead of things that is actually probleatic about her?
