One thing I'm happy to see in this manga is the fact that MC's ability to handle business isn't just implied--he can get his hands dirty if he needs to, and takes charge as he ought to. This is the opposite of what you got in Hyakka Ryouran, in which the MC effectively served as a battery charger for his harem (a kiss, I think it was, would unleash their powers). It was said that he was a skillful swordsman, but he ultimately proved himself capable of very little in the show, and did very little in keeping with that. All the girls did all the fighting and they handled all the business; having been tossed about by all the women, he might as well have been absent from the story entirely.
