I would like to see the exact translation myself and not a generalization. Even looking at Wikipedia, the way he recounts his experiences doesn't indicate to me that he felt deep remorse over the war.

I don't doubt that he didn't acknowledge the act of killing was bad, just that the whole PTSD trip seems revisionist.

Unrelated, but I found while searching that shooting from trees wasn't a thing either.
I'm not finnish so I can't help you with that. Might be able to pull it up with some research but I don't recommend using Wikipedia. Hardly a reputable source of information when anyone can edit it without the slightest bit of oversight. Also I imagine shooting from trees wasn't a thing, yeah. There's hardly any way to get into a stable position and keep your gun level.

Thank goodness this is a Mongolian tapestry about gods and men fighting because a chick's boyfriend got locked up trapped in hell.
And not some historical documentary claiming whatever it show are facts.
I agree it's fiction but if you're going to change it make it better than reality.
In the manga a fuck-ton of russians walked in a straight line in a river while getting headshotted by Simo who was standing atop of a tree 500m away.
That's orders of magnitude less impressive than what happened in real life.

I'm not saying Wikipedia is the end all be all. Just that I don't see the basis for acting in the way he does in this chapter. Also the point of Wikipedia being editable would only be valid if the wiki page was editted at some point, which I don't see being the case.

I didn't see any of this energy with Nikola Tesla.

Simo needing to sacrifice organs smells too much like the author wanting to make this match (and maybe the 12th round too) ends up a draw.

I don’t get why the fuck they made all that shit of how you can’t Volund the bullets without a heavy prince even though Jack was doing that with knives, stones and even the Big Ben. Simo Haya shouldn’t have that nerf.
Ngl, the problem wasn't about creating a regular volund bullet. It is more about a bullet that can shatter itself and each debris can kill a god with the same travel speed as the original one. It is a layered volund power.

Simo hayha never had remorse for russians he killed. When asked about what he felt when he shot them, he said "recoil".

This rendition of Simo Hayha is purely Mangaka's interpretation, so it's fine
