She survived the fire. Or maybe not. There wasn't even a hero present for that fire. Or maybe there was. She's a human whose heart needed to be "freed". Or she's an Amalareik.
Simply put, with what we have now this doesn't add up. Yes there was the ring thing from a bit ago, but it's not the transformation that's the issue here it's everything else.
