There's definitely something weird going on and the empress dowager, assuming she isn't the culprit herself, knows who it is and why. Which then leads to asking... Why  did she want 14th and FuQing to accompany her all of a sudden? What are her motives for setting the stage for these incidents? Assuming this would've happened the same in A'Si's first life, it can't be that it's a way to get at her. It must have something to do with the prophecies mentioned at Wumiao, which are why the Xuemiao elder was trying to get to Yujin by using the Wumiao saintess.
