Like 9/10 chance the parents "remove" Ibelina because they want him to not associate with commoners or something

Yayyyy, so many chapters in one day!

Need a timeskip soon though, and the art style changed?

Honestly, this is starting to get kind of boring... Alejandro is so obnoxious and annoying, and Ibelina is way too oblivious about everything around her. It feels like the same pattern has been going on and on for way too long now.

This is kinda depressing. Too bad she’s not a reincarnated therapist/psychologist cause he needs it.

In a way its cute his attachment to Ibelina but he still needs to mature a lot. Depending on one person may initially sound romantic but isn't really healthy so I hope he actually does work on expanding his connections to others.

@ghusjil He would turn psycho if that happened. Not that the parents would realise it beforehand, so they would do it, but would the story do it?

@ghusjil @Kaarme honestly, i hope that happens so he can grow up and the parents can learn that he loves her.... And maybe even Ibelina could notice.

Ibelina is one of the most sensible and logical heroines I’ve ever encountered yet. She genuinely cares for him and acknowledges his attachment but does not coddle him and instead encourages him to expand his social circle. However, her levelheaded attitude also makes the divide between them more distinguishable: she got into the book world because she cared for Alejandro and wanted him to have a happy life, but she doesn’t seem to have any aspirations of her own as of yet. She is more sensible than most transmigrated heroines but I still feel like she is detaching herself from her new world and isn’t opening herself up completely. Hopefully, Alejandro matures enough to be the same solace for her.

The curse thing still bothers me a bit. Ibelina mentioned the royalty of FL’s kingdom has a connection with breaking the curse. Could Ibee have royal blood? Is she somehow related to FL?I’d like to think the “Ibelina”she transmigrated into makes sense in the book’s lore. No spoilers for me. I just want to hear your thoughts about this.

Honestly I think Ibelina being perfectly aware of his feelings but she has always seen him as a son, not as a lover. Her main reasons for wanting to be near him has been mostly to make him feel the warmth of SOMEONE who loves him dearly since he never had that from his parents much less his servants, and him falling in love with the heroine was just too heartbreaking so she wants him to at least feel love and happiness before that. On top of that, the difference in social standings mean they literally can not be together, she would actually end up as an unidentified corpse in a river if their relationship got more intimate. At least the heroine is a princess.

@NoireNowaru I think she is plenty open enough (about as open as a transmigrated person with literally no character development keeping said fact a secret can be). She chats with others, she makes friends while keeping to her objective (a secret to others for obvious reasons). She doesn't have any other personal ambition because she is already in the best spot for her objective and some people are just "ambitionless" (I grew up with none. There is nothing in particular that I'd want to do more than another thing aside from my entertainment. So in her case, taking care of the MC is the "entertainment" and she doesn't have the will to pursue anything else other than being a maid.)

You probably feel that way because the only thing we could say about Ibelina is "MC's Maid" and "Transmigrated person". There is no mention about her parents(?), her preferences in food, etc.
We don't even know if she hijacked a random maid or she IS the random maid that popped out of nowhere and the other people's memories got filled in like magic. We know nothing. She is just... there. Not for the "lack of effort on her part" (she clearly has a number of friends that would know about her more than us because the author gave us nothing)

@Nep - That's why I said she hasn't opened herself up "completely". I do understand it's common to have no ambition especially for someone her age who is still pretty young, but her relationships with the other maids seem to be pretty superficial. It isn't as heartfelt as her connection with Alejandro; if Alejandro matures a bit more, perhaps he would also feel frustrated that Ibelina is content with watching over him, and regards very little of herself. For lack of a better word, she still gives me an "outsider" vibe compared to other transmigrated heroines. She still feels like she is seeing the world she is in as a "world in a book", rather than "a world she is really in" right now. It isn't as noticeable as Canaria, but I still feel her detachment. Hopefully, with more chapters and character development on her part, it would give some answers.

The cure for the curse is still quite vague and suspicious to me, so I'm going to go with my theory that she is possibly connected with FL's Kingdom. So far, the story doesn't seem to mention lore like that for nothing. And since we still don't have answers for her origins, there is still a possibility for it to happen(not really a fan of too much drama and scheming from convenient plot devices).
