I thought the first and last stories were the best. There's nothing remarkable from a narrative perspective, no unusual twists, turns, and 'gotcha' moments, but there was a lot of feeling in them, mostly a kind of drifting sadness... but as it's been said, not all tears are evil. A wonderful read. Cheers for the effort put into translating these tales.
