It would be great to be able to do following stuff in Follows > Library:
  • sort titles in the library, by title, rating, number of bookmarks/readers, number of comments, number of unread chapters, etc.
  • filter titles in the library, by tag, publication status, having unread chapters, etc.
BTW There is a similar request related to Follows > Updates (Site: Filter on Follows Updates), but I think it's better to keep them separate.

I know this is a relatively low amount compared to the average reader, but i got 207 titles on my reading list, and i'm disegarding the ones on "plan to read" which are equally important. It becomes really difficult to browse through the titles i've already started reading, the only search engine looks through the entire manga list added to mangadex, so even if i search key words like "isekai", i'll just end up finding dozens of pages of alternate titles, and this issue will keep getting worse as i use mangadex to sort the mangas i'm reading, there's no search engine on the reading list, so the amount of pages will only keep increasing and i won't be able to find the mangas i've marked to read later. (Not to mention the fact that the mangas are constantly getting a change of cover, so it becomes real hard to spot a familiar one if i'm not sorting it's genre)

Funny that at this exact moment, I have the same number, except a 1 in front of it. 1207
I very much agree with it

sometimes i have some manga that I’m following that have completed serialisation but i haven't gotten around to finish reading it yet, and since they're completed they eventually stop appearing in the "updates" section
so i'd like to have the ability to filter by completion status within the library interface to be able to find the ones that i've added to the "reading" collection.

Just a search tool for your own library would be nice for that matter.
Or adding "in your library" as a box to the advanced search tool.

yeah, expanding the search tool would be fine too i guess
tho having search/filter within library interface would be best

It'd be nice if our library could be sorted, similarly to how the Advanced Search lets you choose how the results are sorted. Shouldn't be difficult on a technical level... but maybe it hasn't been done because it's resource intensive?

Additionally, it'd be great if there was a way to search only within the library contents.

I don't know if this would be more or less intensive than a normal search... but I feel like it should be less? Because it only has to search the titles within the library, as opposed to searching EVERY title.

I'm not going to bother suggesting the "exclude library titles from search results" that has already been posted multiple times.

I already feel like this would require a lot more resources to execute... because it'd have to:
  1. Perform the search
  2. Hold onto the results
  3. Fetch the user's library
  4. Remove library titles from search results
  5. display 1 page worth of results
    ...
  6. Repeat all five steps when the next page of results is requested.
(unless the site stores multiple pages of results in a cookie, so it can just request the next set without needing to perform all the work again until going past the last pre-stored page.)

I like that Suggestion a lot. I have found it especially inconvenient when you have a lot of bookmarked titles. And it doesn't have to be that complex; they can either add a filter in the 'Advanced Search' for titles that are in at least one of your libraries, similar to the 'Content Rating' filter, or they can add a filter search into the 'Library Page', like the one that they have in the 'Advanced Search' page.

Would make the site as a whole a lot more user-friendly.

I was just coming to the forums to ask whether searching within library was possible -- for example if I want to search for tag HAREM within READING that does not seem to be possible. But Advanced Search does not have any way of selecting by library status :(
