It would be great to be able to do following stuff in Follows > Library:
  • sort titles in the library, by title, rating, number of bookmarks/readers, number of comments, number of unread chapters, etc.
  • filter titles in the library, by tag, publication status, having unread chapters, etc.
BTW There is a similar request related to Follows > Updates (Site: Filter on Follows Updates), but I think it's better to keep them separate.

came here to make this exact thread please I would like to show my library to people who are interested in certain types of manga and showing my library could help my friends find things they'll like and gives me another reason to recommend this site.

Bringing this back up because I have 30 pages in my library and it’s difficult to go through them. I’m not even sure how they’re sorted. Seems rather random.

Yeah. It's honestly easier to just remove "unimportant" manga from your own library, at this point, than going through hundreds of "currently reading" manga.

This is the most important missing feature on mangadex, a real shame that it is not even getting acknowledged.

I want to sort library by aggregate rating on MangaDex so I can see the manga I like that are the most underrated.

Feel like this would be great for narrowing down stuff you can kind of remember but not the name and are trying to locate.

this is like a key feature it's absurd it doesn't exist and people have been asking for it since before the relaunch.
Feel free to apply as a developer and dedicate your free time for unpaid work to develop a solution that is performant and uses the least amount of compute resources possible.

they already have a search solution implemented, and honestly this is the type of feedback this section of the forums is for.

There is no need to create duplicate suggestion threads.

And no, there is currently no search solution implemented for personal feeds/lists.

This is very unlikely to be planned until at least the library rework is finally out (Custom lists v2).

I didn't create the thread, just agreed with it. the search solution is also there. it's just pointing at the wrong records. it's all already on their servers.

That's why I specified "personal feeds/lists" which are much more resource intensive because, unlike public search, they're generated per user.

Maybe with/after the planned library rework, it'll come in the future. (so I'd suggest to bump the thread once it's out, unless this doesn't get rejected)

But it definitely doesn't seem like a high priority currently.

Well i have done it myself in the past with 600+ reading list, searching through all pages just to miss it in the middle of it. Hence i create that script, much easier to search things. If you cant use script then maybe you could try third party apps?, idk any of it but they may have that feature. My script itself work like those apps, storing manga info locally. Every time i use that library filter, instead of requesting to the mangadex server, the script will act as a server, providing data using its own logic and local database
I don't know about you, but I have 1281 titles I am "reading"

On my library page, at least in the completed section, there are no filters or ordering. I would like to order them by rating or filter by a specific genre. I want to have more control in the library as I have many pages already.

Also the query on the library already has some of this data, also a lot of unused and unnecessary data that should be removed.

seriously it is strange to me that I still can't filter or organize my 1k+ library.

Agree with both of you. It's kind of surprising that with how much info is already being pulled in the library query, there still isn't even a basic filter or sort option. Even something simple like sorting by rating, last updated, or being able to search within a specific genre would help a lot, especially for people with large libraries.
