If you put it that way, would Mitsumi be the little girl the monster accidentally kills while playing???Been waiting for the Frankenstein parallels in the main story, we finally got it. Just as the monster was rejected by his creator, Shima became rejected by his mom. They each felt their creations too monstrous to deserve love. But while in Frankenstein the Monster goes on a murder/revenge quest, Shima just punished himself.
It’s weirdly gut-wrenching. I’m almost concerned for the author with how realistic this portrayal of a parental figure twisting your honest explanations into something negative. I feel extremely conflicted about Shima’s mom…. I don’t know if i as a reader will ever be able to truly view her positively in any way, but I suppose that’s just part of it all.Woah such a heavy moment with him trying to make his mom listen..
that's ririka I think (as he damaged her career), because he already escaped from the torches and confronted his creator. If you put it that way, would Mitsumi be the little girl the monster accidentally kills while playing???
and the friends of Taiga that sold the pictures or at least that they shared it.Wow. We finally understand what exactly happened in the past. It all makes sense why Ririka was so pissed at Shima’s mom at the school festival. Shima also wouldn’t have been caught ditching if she didn’t tag along and the pic wasn’t posted online. So Ririka feels responsible for what happened too. His mom blamed him for everything when it was all her fault butting in on his acting and putting pressure on him. He never would’ve ditched then. Taiga was an actually making sure Shima wasn’t doing anything bad and was just helping him relax for once. His mom is the one who’s to blame for the whole thing.
