I'm positively surprised by the guy actually not being that bad..! It seems that he was more worried for Shima because his own parents were pressuring him and wanted to give him an 'out'.

I also like that Shima is seeing acting as an opportunity to become at peace with his prior situation, but him feeling that Mitsumi is in a completely different world that he doesn't have a right to intrude upon is something I hope he'll express some day so he can see that it isn't true at all and that he is wanted!
