No, I still think she's better than old Jelly. Doing good for bad reasons is better than doing bad for bad reasons. Her motives suck, but she's still doing the job of a saint. Versus old Jelly who tortured people and shit, just for fun.

For anyone that is wondering what is the meaning of the word aspiiic on page 19.
Aspic is a type of clear transparent jelly. So the other girl is calling Jelly transparent in what she is really thinking.

No, you deserve hostility for trying to show someone else up with a nonsensical line of reasoning, that also belittles the author, the manga and the readers.

Then hammering it down with a borrowed word that you assumed few others would know. Like I said, that's why you covered it up in spoiler brackets, instead of...I don't know, just saying it? Without the term even. It's not about the term. How many times do I have to say that? Not because the term was special or important, but because you thought YOU were special and important for knowing and meting it out. Which goes back to the first point.

she's been using the mini slimes to heal ppl like Will's sister and Celes, but i'm sure 'pouring mana' might be a concept that'd be familiar as a slime tho i guess slimes aren't known for having high mana when the summary of this series canonically calls them the 'weakest demon' but it'd be amusing if the barrier did break b/c of 'too much' mana rather than reinforced
(although 'holy magic' aside you'd think there'd be 'normal' magic users that could pour mana to strengthen a barrier too, or just build actual literal walls as well to blockage a village if needed)

aspic is also her last name so i'm assuming she extended it outta frustration as opposed to making a pun like "daaaamn yoooou jelllly" etc

I can already see Ange tailing her there, and she will probably end up being the one to work on the barrier...
