So, do they have some magic heart monitor installed in Jelly? How would they know she's alive?
Jelly didn't take a year to resurect, all they had to do was to have people in her house to spy on her and by the time the dude came back to his boss the spy at her house had the time to see jelly get back home and tell his boss.

THATS ERLKING HEATHCLIFF

Anyway, He will probably become like a knight/mage for Jelly in the future.

And then he will hunt all the Berger in the mirror world to make them a believer like him.

I'm expecting the new mystery man to be a love interest, and Jelly will accidentally make him swoon while being completely oblivious that he's interested.

I didn't miss that it's your new profile pic. That aside, how many of us would play a new Pac-man game with Saint Jelly as the protagonist? :lul:

I like this manga, but it feels wrong that it won 1st place in a "Isekai" category when it isn't even Isekai.

That really depends on how they define it. It is a world different than ours, it is isekai (another world). It is (as far as we know) not a person moving to another world like how we typically use the term.

I wonder if original Jelly is still hiding in there or if she’s just braindead.

The lack of bloody vomitting/diarrhea rules nightshade out, hemlock may be a contender by causing respiratory failure, same with strychnine, or blowfish poison. Maybe a huge opioid overdose…

that's like saying Frieren, Ace Combat & Blue Archive are isekai because they're world different from ours, which is dumb af.

nah, fuck Japan on this one... unless they did this to fuck this genre that is plagued by shitty tropes like lame-ass kirito-clone MCs carried by their cheat skills & wasted a lot of its potential.
and we still don't get Drifters Season 2 for god’s sake

i mean, if it's not a troll and vote in, it is pretty hilarious if it was a send in/write in vote where ppl picked Jelly over other isekais or so. If only b/c there's not a proper 'fantasy' section and them doing it outta spite or so , unless it's some 4d chess move to reveal that other otherworlders exist in this world even if the OG slime who took over jelly was born in this world, either way, it'd be interesting to see the reaction on twitter/comments section to see if the other isekai titles' authors are seething about it

i'm just more interested in the guy appearing next chapter, he seems young and more 'heroic' than the assassins after jelly, but hey we also briefly see the OG "traveler" girl that told Jelly about the 'possession' to begin with tho she's just there to be a random citizen(?) rather than talking to jelly directly again

Sure ain't any human that can survive that, but what about a slime controlling a corpse?

Does her heart even beat?
I think her jelly/slime cells/particles manually made her heart beat/revive when she forced Jelly's body to expel the poison that originally killed her?
