Huh, I thought there'd be something sketchy in the hero's backstory, but I didn't see that coming.
Would Jelly babies be fully human or half slime? If you killed your father then the only thing you can do is to become a father yourself
Either that, or accidentally killed him during some situation that couldn't be avoided, or had to kill him because someone was physically controlling him, or had to kill because he was malicious...You did what? That is some kind of misunderstanding, right? Like, you ran away from a monster, abandoned your father who tried to save you, right? Right?
If anything, probably fell into the rocky beach instead of the water, and left the coat on the rapids as a distraction maybe?Bergers coat was in the rapids, being run with hundreds of gallons of rapidly moving, churning water per hour for over a day.
And it was still stained with fresh blood.
Yeah, There is no way homie was human.
A Saint... Corpse... Fused with the body of another being......the corpse of a Saint with holy powers.
AFAIK it's a writing team, and you're right, there's all kinds of things going on in the background, like Leon mentioned when he was introduced he had repelled, not killed a dragon, and when a dragon showed up later it was missing part of its tail, was heavily scarred and only had one eye, so the authors are doing a lot of groundwork unusual to the genreThe detail this mangaka puts into this series still impresses me, Erin the maid was in the back of the panel picking up the utensils Jelly dropped. Which is why I don't take any details for granted if it seems like it could have even a bit of plot relevance.
