Then there's the fact that this book was absolutely just teleported in there by the goddess herself, so Celestria having had it at a young age actually is quite interesting.

That makes you wonder who Celestria's mom actually was

Dang that nun crash at the start

Feels like the goddess is more of a butterfly than slime with that book

edit: I made an oopsie and now I can't delete this comment because the site won't let me

I believe if you self report you can ask a mod to remove it. or just post /edit it into something that is connected to the chapter discussion lol

It makes me wonder if Jelly being chosen as a saint wasn't because she herself was actually a saint, but would become the vessel of the person who was.
And we know OG Jelly was only good at healing herself but not others. Maybe it was a way to keep to vessel safe until the slime could take over.

Probably a previous true saint.

that would imply it's genetically passed down (unless it's an exception but other than the author deciding to add it you'd think it'd be mentioned) but it doesn't seem like the other saints had connections like that before , would be interesting lore building tho

Well Jelly would be the current true saint, not Celestria which is why the book disappeared after her mother's death.

A world where there is gods predicting the future, means free will is nonsense, but at least the cookies taste good right.
Nah, there is plenty of gray area that allows for both free will and prophecy.

Ever heard of the butterfly effect?
It's not made for prophecy but it works here:
Basically if anyone does anything anywhere, it would effect something that effects something and so on and this would eventually effect what is predicted by the prophecy, meaning everything even outside the direct wording of the prophecy is in a way already predicted.
