I'm from New Zealand. Here is my weather story:
Yesterday the weather was beautiful throughout the whole day. The temperature was like an ordinary late summer's day, just as it should be.
Then suddenly at 19:00 we are given the news by the prime minister that 3 new COVID-19 cases have been identified outside of our quarantine facilities in Auckland, and that they are of the UK strand of the virus. Auckland moved to level 3, while the rest of the country moved to level 2. This (hopefully) won't go over the initial 3 days the prime minister enforced these new restrictions.
Anyway, today has been raining literally all day all across the country. Rain is my favourite weather, especially when it's really strong, but I thought it was all bit ironic since this came just so fast. Perhaps this weather is foreshadowing bad things to come...
