Yeah, this is fine, but it's nothing on the original. I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was him being OP little kid disrupting the "alien" scheme while his parents were unaware.

Also, I think I understand the basis for the Star Powder now. It's a means of accelerating how used to mana the world is so that more powerful mana can be forced in, while also making sure the mana boost humanity receives from that acceleration is superficial. I imagine it's also a means for the Avatar to mind control people since it's likely generated from his essence (which is why the current "Alien" has a more powerful variant on hand.)

But that last part wouldn't make sense since Sung Jin-woo would always be aware of the invaders because of his own powers, so that plot idea wouldn't really work without seriously depowering Jin-woo's abilities. I don't disagree that the original is still currently better, but, at the same time, a sequel series was never likely to feel the same or better than the original. As long as it isn't Boruto bad, I'm happy since this still is a pretty good series, especially since it's technically by a different author.

honestly i am happy with this, it's not worse nor better, it's just more of the same and it's fine.
