maybe the reason solo levelling felt kind of rushed was because it was just a backstory for solo leveling ragnarok. maybe solo leveling ragnarok was the actual main manga from the beginning.

Wasn't Esil like, way taller in the original? She was incredibly tall, like 8 feet or more, and thin as a pencil. Now she's like 5 feet tall. Lame.

Having déjà vu all over again, history repeating itself and smiling whenever there are great moments and returning characters too! It may not hit the same as Solo Leveling but it's cool, can't wait to see Suho reuniting with his dad though.

rely less on nostalgia bucks. focus more on forward world building or individual POV- character growth more like invest all your points here. if you delete all that relates to the past lore and make new bridges. him having monarch's blood is enough nostalgia. the original story had more standalone writing. ragnarok relies heavily on the past. regular tropes. this feels like hunterxhunter dark continent, you have the ants arc from previous story looking like chimer arc. now you have this dark continent. the story feels like it's not actually moving forward. feels like back tracking but different flavor.
I was just expecting that the writer/s will spread wings unto different styles or stories. make you feel like you are reading something new but same title. do they also have avengers fixation? gather infinity stones for villain. villain will attack too late, the mc's growth too fast. pick up party members for protagonist. ultimate team. fight in space. That's why the original story was unique cos it was pov of Brawler-Necro-warlord.
