Ahh the bears. I dunno, they seemed pretty weak since MC took one out One Punch Man style. But the Knights were getting tore up by them even with their armor...
I assumed they were all rank 1 bears, since they were somewhat common, like trash mobs in a dungeon.

Now the big bear, obviously not a rank 1. Either we didn't get to see him name it yet or it's just not a high enough rank at the moment.

His summons can gain experience, but can they rank up?

1. That first cave clean up, the mc supposed to have use the potion shop to keep on replenishing his mana supply.
2. That group of A-B ranker, should have encounter first some Ice bears, then lured to a Yeti hideout by the Ice Elves. Which shows that the A ranker is just a hot headed hunter.
3. In this span of 3 days inside the red dungeon, mc contemplate about putting stats to INT. Which lead to mc having almost the same amount of INT with his STR.
4. Although the fighting scene is still different if there is a visualization. Which the illustrator show splendidly. I like the Art style and fast paced fighting.

In the novel it was explained that Igris was waiting for his master to call upon him again (which is the current mc). It was also explain that Igris pretty much surprised to the mc tenacity to survive. Which lead to Igris wanting to serve this master more. This part was posted by the author after the main story was finished.

That big bear is like a higher level of Ice Bear. Although after resummoning the level is still level 1 but the whole class is different. If I still remember it correctly the mc called it Boss Ice Bear. Although it is a rare species but not a Unique one, and not enough for mc to name. The only summon he named in the novel are all Unique species and above. It's using the same concept as most rpg with normal, rare, unique(renaming available), legendary and Epic, although God Like beings are also present.

I suggest for you to read the novels from the start. As the manwha removed a lot of details from the start. Especially how the mechanics of this whole game system works. And I will surely tell you that it will only get confusing if you dont read it from the very beginning.

@brokenglish To be fair, the LN is kinda hard to understand, since google was the one to TL it, and there is no point telling u about the other Arcs, but one thing i can say is that it will just get better and better.
