Historical murder mysteries are always lots of fun. The only one I'm not suspicious of so far is John on account of him not having much power even if she actually did die. He would technically be king, sure, but it looks like his father-in-law would be regent or it would plunge the state into a civil war because David would contest for the crown on account of him being a minor.

Not clear whether Anne was involved in the plot to assassinate her or was just used, but in case she was involved I wouldn't be surprised. Could be that David was cheating on Ophelia with Anne and had her involved, but this way too much speculation for now.
