It's not disingenuous if it's a natural conclusion to what you said, and you also said "Because that's the only possible solution...."
I’m flattered that you think of me as a higher being whose memory encompasses all of reality, rather than a mere flawed human with a flawed memory. Unfortunately, that’s all I am: a flawed human with a flawed memory.
“Because that's the only possible solution” was referring to running a power cable the entire way to the device, not about which cable to run. Whether you use a USB cable, a power cord, or a proprietary charger with cable, you have to run the cable all the way to the device anyway. It’s not like we can transfer power over the air just yet. At least the technology hasn’t made its way to the average consumer quite yet. I mean, sure, you could also just use an extension power cord and have 2 cables act as 1 longer one, but then why bother with the stand?
On the other hand, it's rather disingenuous to edit your posts and claim I didn't answer something I did.
If you’re referring to the fact that I edited my post after you posted your response, my bad. You just happened to post your response while I was still editing mine. By the time I realized what happened, it was already too late.
As for my claim that you didn’t answer something, I’m sorry, but no matter how many times I reread your earlier posts, I do not see anything even remotely resembling an answer. Even now that I know you were alluding to proprietary chargers, all I see is you asking questions and expecting me to reach some conclusion. That is not what I call “answering something”.
You'll note that if you search that exact phrase you quoted, the first mention of it is in my post where I quoted you, and I answered that in the very same post. So "second time" is wrong. Furthermore, that was a clarification of what I said before, so I had already answered it.
To each their own. You think you had answered my question, I think you hadn’t. Let’s move on, shall we?
