Well, humanity certainly got a way to make use of it, a sort of storing as emergency backup. =D
You don't like where the backup is placed or complain about it being in the way?
Move more then, because your body will store it in any place and shape it believes won't interfere with what you do most of the time.
(As such,just brief running occassionally won't really change how and where,even slowly walking the same distances would make more of a difference tbh.)
Also, for same reason, any moron that want their chest to grow or stay the same while working out, wear something that'll properly support them or your body will deem them in the way and try shrink em.
(Those lumps of fat are definitely the most inconvenient lumps when it comes to moving, atleast without support.)
Getting rid of excess fat aint solving the issue,that's just trying to hide the symptoms. =p
Also, you might want to stop listening to what most if not all corps say, they certainly try to sound legit and skirt close to the truth, but ultimately will stay away from it so as not to lose customers in the long run.
(Seen my fair share of "solutions" that certainly would seem to work short-term but are counterproductive for long-term, and anyone involved in research about the human body could tell you why.)
