Enjoy,

Couple of things I wanted to ask actually:

When A-Ting's master is addressed formally by messengers, I've called him Pavilion Lord which he is as well. However they actually call him '大奉剑' which translates literally into 'big esteemed sword'. I'm not sure what a good english name for that is that isn't too long. 'Great esteemed sword' might be ok but pavilion lord just sounded better to me.

A-Ting's new weapon is named '裂天' which literally means crack/split/rend sky. As you can imagine there are many ways to translate this (especially since 天 could be both sky or heaven). I've chosen 'Sky splitter' but could change it if someone comes up with something better.

I don't understand what happens to big bro, does he cast an illusion on that mortal kid?
I think he put the kid, and maybe the village to sleep, and they are dreaming, and he watched the dreams. There seems to have been intent on inspecting the village from the get go, to see how things are faring.

I know that translators take liberties quite often, to make things flow better or make them understandable. I think the only consideration that needs to be made, is that the changes are consistent. That being said, maybe just Sword Pavilion Lord / Master. It sounds like what other stories would use Sword Saint for, which is a name that denotes skill and position, but saint's don't exist in this comic's universe.

On that note, since they are addressing him at his place (the Sword Pavilion), I think Sword Master, or something like that would work for now. Not an overly formal meeting after all, where full titles should / would be stated.

Oh, "Sky Splitter" is perfect chunni enough for a kid to use as a name. Fun to say, and aspirational. If she ever talks about the sword to another, it may become clearer, so can't do much about being faithful to the source just yet. ... Heaven Hewer. Alliteration is fun.

glad Qu Chen wasn't in trouble after all, quite jarring to see him as a bloody mess. Ah-ting's sword is awesome, Sword Pavilion leader made it seem like her materials might not yield a super powerful sword (iirc) so it's nice that it seems quite powerful. maybe her personal connection to the materials makes all the difference. the fact that she's named it after splitting "Heaven"... quite fitting for the mosquito that set everything in motion.

as for names, I like Pavilion Lord or Sword Pavilion Lord depending on the context. I think when it comes to epithets, it's sometimes clearer if they're italicized when used as an address or a spell (so you know the words are a "name" for something - Sky Splitter, Murky Heaven Grand Formation). it becomes clear enough to me when it's formatted like that, but I haven't had any problems understanding the names themselves so far!

Alright, I'll keep it as pavilion lord for now but if it comes up one more time I'll change it all.

Sky Splitter sounds like it's fine for now as well.
