Yeah, the girl is missing crucial information, like the fact that the first time mom invited the husband to the room, Ogino had already started pointing out how weird it is for her to separate her husband from the rest of the home with tape.
I can't explain how irrationally angry the mom and teacher make me. Like, he offers to help, gets shut down because the wife intentionally keeps the daughter away from him, tries to comfort her when she breaks down, and in the end it all gets blamed on him
That's just regular anger.

what an unprofessional asshole dog that teacher is. how hard is it to take the other side of the story? damn i hope that dude gets rough dry railed without consent (figure of speech). dudes probably interested in the wife probably explaining the white knighting and shit. the wife sucks, dealing with mentally unwell people will really take a toll on your mental health as well especially if you have no idea how to deal with it. husband looks like he's already fed up with all her bullshit. understandable, but there couldve been other better ways to deal with this. i hope this manga will have a positive conclusion and that incompetent dumbass of a teacher dead (figure of speech).

thanks for the chapter

The poor guy that's surrounded by emotional parasites.
To be fair, the dad isn't blameless in all this either. As I've pointed out in a previous chapter, he refuses to learn how to communicate with his wife, but just accepts that she doesn't understand his way of communicating. He's the lesser of two evils, for sure, but as far as we've seen he hasn't done anything to try and understand his wife or help his wife understand him.

Ichika and the Thot's son are the only blameless victims in this story

Edit: added blameless to the final comment. Both the mom and dad are victims in their own right but they're also responsible, at least partially, for the situation they're in.

We've very much seen him try his hand at understanding her. She literally either throws glass at his face, or shuts down completely. The only reason we know anything about the wife at all is because her concept of "normal" prevents her from going full apeshit on strangers, so she has to fill in the space with (vaguely) more rational, less hysterical thoughts. And what do we find out about her? She doesn't want to take responsibility for anything in life, would literally rather just be ordered to do things, and she's obsessed with appearing "normal" to others.

As long as outsiders aren't telling her she's not normal, the woman has negative interest in having a relationship with her husband, or even just behaving like an adult. There's no way for him to actually talk to her like a person without him first pretending to be a stranger. And there's no way for him to help her understand him because, again, she has negative interest in doing so. The story itself makes it very clear that if you don't fall into her idea of what is "normal", she won't spare an instant of thought to understanding you. Add to that her retarded thing about being given the choice, not ordered, to abort the baby, and the author's basically made an impossible situation to get out of.

E-thot is your average e-thot. She hates responsibility, so she literally avoids it by any means necessary. Her relationships are shallow, and her son's picked up on this ages ago. She's trying to get MC by pushing her avoidance strategy on him and denying him information that would keep him around his family.

Wife is an overgrown child. Also hates responsibility, and she wants literally anyone else to take it for her. She'd be the perfect sub if not for the fact that she's also got the temper (and apparently sexuality) of a child. She craves normality because that's what everyone expects, despite the fact that she's a psycho bitch who literally can't imagine what "normal" even is in the first place.

MC is an avoidant. Avoidance is a running theme here, but in MC's case, it's about people. He'll do almost literally anything, for any period of time if it means he can avoid conflict. It's probably why he hasn't gotten divorced yet. The wife gave him that old, "Don't cross on my side of the tape!" thing kids do, and since it gave him a way to avoid daily fights with his wife, and a chance to keep seeing his daughter, he quietly took the deal.

As it stands, none of them want to take the reigns and actually break the cycle of abuse, and everyone would very much rather everyone else do something about it. E-thot wants MC to leave his wife, wife would rather keep the status quo if it means having to choose to divorce, and meanwhile MC is the only one who's mature enough to understand that he has a part in all of it. Not a big one, mind you, but he knows his cold nature isn't helping an already shit situation. But at the same time, he loves his daughter, and he's stuck avoiding yet more conflict with his psycho bitch wife, which is really all he wants.

If the author would stop making new chapters more unbearably irritating than the other, that's be nice...
Thanks for the chapter!
