Nothing wrong with the author wanting to end their series after they finish telling all the story they want to tell. Always the better option compared to continue stretching on with mediocre plot.

Well that was a rollercoaster. The pre final page was absolutely screaming 'death flag' and I got extremely worried.

Then I see 'final chapter' and got relieved that it can't be that.

Then I realized it really says 'final chapter' and got even sadder... Granted the manga did sort of fizzle out there towards the end so maybe it's for the best. Author could use a fresh new project.

I wish more mangakas had the courage to write couple life instead of ending their series soon after the main couple gets together.

It's especially egregious for this series. I started reading this because of cool cosplays, cosplay lore, and character development and then was blindsided by the romance plot which I gladly welcomed. But then the series is over as soon as the romance is resolved? There are so many things this premise could have delved into that we'll never see unless he decides to make a continuation.

I am honestly so dissapointed that none of the interesting side stories never will get their due closure... Who made the Haniel cosplay will just never be found out? We'll never meet the much of the characters from earlier again? And (major) it will end up with having it's most intense romantic/sexual tension at the very beginning?? Truly a terrible situation if it becomes true.

Normally I'd be ok with the story ending after the main duo officially get together, but what about the hints of Gojou getting noticed for his cosplay quality? I totally thought something was going to happen with that.

The hell you mean final chapter? Not only have they literally just started dating, but where is the pay off from that pain in the ass cosplay? Just a small acknowledgement from the author about liking the effort that Gojo never even saw?

Talk about unsatisfying, seriously, there are so many plot threads they are just going to leave hanging for no reason. Axe? Author out of ideas or can't write a dating couple?

Honestly, as long as they wrap up Gotou's issues with Marin's physical intimacy, I'd be happy with the ending. Like seriously just hold hand and hug my dude, you deserve the happiness and love
