I wish more mangakas had the courage to write couple life instead of ending their series soon after the main couple gets together.

It's especially egregious for this series. I started reading this because of cool cosplays, cosplay lore, and character development and then was blindsided by the romance plot which I gladly welcomed. But then the series is over as soon as the romance is resolved? There are so many things this premise could have delved into that we'll never see unless he decides to make a continuation.

I wonder if it is down to Japan's awkward relationship with sex? With long term commited relationships come a physical relationship and maybe trying to tell that story realistically is a bridge too far for prudish Japan without going 18+?

Agreed there is plenty more cosplay shenanigans to get into. Especially with all that setup from cosplaying Haniel. I imagine Kitagawa's next cosplay would get way more attention if someone recognized her.

Also, and I was hoping for this, a proud and more confident Gojo at her side as her official of. We got to see his growth with classmates and it won't be a 180 but damn if I didn't wanna see him knowing she only wants to shine in his works for them. Like how he was all choked up at the school festival. I WANT HEALED GOJO FEELS DRAWN OUT

This chapter gives me anxiety and I am sad it is ending.

That said, I'll hope for a sequel series... do family cosplays or explore the other characters. Until then, thanks Fukuda-san, you rekindled my love for cosplay... and gave me some good tips, too.

Honestly, good spot to end it on rather than dragging it out to death to milk it until it's a dead, empty husk. I'm especially glad they decided not to do a dragged-out public reveal after the whole online-blowup arc.

All the greats except for Uzaki are dead (finished). Actually distraught about this. All the romcom I read at a young age have ended, we'll have to find new ones. But what hurts the most is not that they ended, it's that we barely get anything after they become a couple for us to sink our teeth into. The only exception to this is again, Uzaki-chan.

One of the best romance series we've had in decades and just like that it comes to an abrupt end.
Really hope it can see a continuation somehow in the future, the topics touched on in regards to artisan works with cosplay and such were amazing, much more the actual romance and all that.

but really... so many plot points not explored.
