Interesting to see Marin being the unexpressive one in a scene, but she's got a lot to think about and her dad was there to pick up the slack.

And naturally Wakana fails (or seems to fail) to pick up what her dad was putting down. But if you want to grind your teeth over Wakana "being dense", consider how high-context Japanese culture is and how ambiguous statements such as dad's leave a lot of room for misinterpretation, particularly when you consider Wakana's low self-esteem. Rather than simply missing what seems to the reader to be obvious subtext, if his distorted self-appraisal of their relationship is that his only real contribution is as her dietician then that's the subtext he's going to pick up on.

I too remember how every romcom was a harem and every ending was inconclusive aside from Love Hina. I remember being shocked when a couple's first kiss wasn't at the end of the entire damn series when they did finally get together. I mean...did Ranma and Akane finally kiss at the end of Ranma Half?

Do you agree that the author of the manga will invite Marin to something? Live action or publicity. I don't know if that will be good for both of them. And the author seems arrogant. Trying to take advantage of Marin wouldn't be impossible.

honestly this is pretty interesting reading month-to-month i don’t really care where it goes, pretty fun theorizing why these two act. like marin is so absolutely apathetic facially about the attention, and gojo snapping. what snapped? what changed? is it his desire as an artist or his attraction to marin? i think this is really interesting. excited to see future chapters and how this story will continue to develop!

HIATUS?! BROOOOO come on. And until May... she better come back with those bi-weekly releases then... This was a nice breather of a chapter after all those packed ones, but it was just a tease. Marin was also absolutely not herself.

Surprise! The reappearance of Marin's dad and we've got him on the shipbuilding team, now Gojou is the only one who doesn't realize he has a fiancé.

A bit concerned they didn't address Gojou's down mood, but perhaps it comes up in a future chapter.

The most obvious answer is probably that he feels that she's growing away from him and he'll not be relevant to her any more. But we've gotten jebaited before.

I mean I know they are teenagers but Gojou's reaction was way far from normal for them to ignore, I hope this "I will just pretend nothing happened" thing is like a temporary avoidance sort of reaction... hope this gets clearer in a Marin-Gojou scenario but we know this isn't gonna happen lol, they are going to milk tf out of this drama
