uh . . . i dont know about this, i mean, we knew kitagawa was crazy over gojou, but did we see any sings that he was head over heels for her too?Cause i dont really remember seeing that, except maybe for the whole cosplay thing.
Dunno, i think this could have gone many different ways, and most of those were better than a random love confession outta nowhere.
Don't get me wrong, im down for romance between these 2 as much as the next guy, but i would have enjoyed it more if it made sense.

Amazing chapter. That was a spectacular confession. It was paced so well and really stuck the landing that all the moodiness of this arc built up to until being need to be let out after bottling up their feelings for so long.

I can kind of see this take. My reasoning is that maybe Gojo's signs are more subtle, but with him being so focused on his hobbies it seems a more jarring that he would immediately be as aware as Marin is to his own feelings. I only see it as a minor nitpick though because Gojo obviously shows his love and appreciate to others through his works. i.e. making clothes for Marin.

Manga characters actually communicate their feelings speedrun any%
An extremely terrible speedrun if that were the case. Not the worst that's out there, but definitely not making it to the speedrun competition.

While I'm happy to see original Marin back, I don't know if it was worth the 7 months of annoyance we just had to go through to get here. I'm sure upon re-read it won't be as annoying and will be more of just a hiccup in the overall tone and characters. We'll have to see if the mangaka can save this momentum.

We absolutely did! Call it fanservice, but every panty shot or boob jiggle was Gojou's lingering gaze. From chapter one Gojou was attracted to Marin's body and her personality. "Someone from another world." Through the cosplay, he realized his feelings a little more. Shizuka -> "You were beautiful." Liz -> Boner inducing. Rei -> realizing the way he looks at Marin is the way he looks at Hina Dolls. Haniel -> Obsessive, Possessive, Maniacal gaze at her beauty. He was too insecure to put it into words, or even consider the possibility.

This series did a great job of tying each small arc into a grander series arc. This is an amazing story where the two leading characters have depth. We get a lot about Gojou's insecurity, his passion for craftsmanship, and his breaking down of his walls. Marin has enthusiasm, and confidence, but doesn't know how to make her dreams into reality. This is a story about two kids who fit together like a puzzle working out their flaws together. It's top-tier character development.

After this chapter, I re-read from the Rei arc, and the pacing is golden. If anyone feels the Haniel arc was dragged out, maybe blame the release schedule. The post-Haniel arc has only been 7-8 chapters, and we got the payoff we've wanted since the start.
