Orionscans... seriously, they have been spreading like wildfire the past week or 2, and the very same mistakes keep happening in every-single-one of their releases:

• Incorrect pronouns
• Hit or miss translations in every speech bubble
• Bad typesetting that cuts off sentences form one bubble to the next

The worst part is the text "sounds natural", it's not utterly broken, so it can be read, even if it makes little sense and is disconnected from the action, which can result in the average reader that has English as their 2nd or 3rd language completely miss the problems with these releases.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad someone is uploading chapters of many shows that have been dead, and it was the very same argument many of us gave to many of the more aggressive groups (that may or may not paywall chapters...) that used to snipe plenty of popular shows, angering the smaller scanlators that had much better quality, in many cases killing off future translations and only leaving the subpar aggressive groups (that may have or may have not been paywalling chapters and doing this on purpose). In a way, this is better than it used to be, but it's still a far cry from a -normal- not even good scanlator's work.

Also, imho, whoever is MTLing these is doing it so wrong that it hurts. MTL can and easily does much better work than your average writer/translator/localizer, but it requires a good prompt, and a description of the situation and who is speaking for every bit of translated text; dropping everything after scanning it with an OCR will yield terrible results (as can be seen here). As for the automated typesetting, it's "fine", but really, can't you tell the freaking machine to separate by complete sentences? it's not that hard.

I usually only start uploading for a series after a new chapter has been released for it (it feels a bit weird to upload stuff that hasn't had any updates for months), but there you go. The missing chapters have been added to MangaDex.
Just don't mind the mess for now due to the missing volume numbers.

I feel like Orion is an offshoot of some other group that was banned from MD... the fact they have so many chapters ready, a whole website with a fancy reader (and a "shop" link), a Discord server... doesn't really feel like an amateur group doing some work for the love of the medium.
But this is just a tinfoil hat theory, don't take me seriously.

The mistakes are the same because they are simply feeding the text to a machine and pasting the result onto the page, there is no editing process.

You shouldn't. We as freeloaders of illegal content are not entitled to anything and if a comic is dead it's better it stays dead than getting resurrected at this level of quality.
Be glad only if the person or team shows respect towards the readers. Orion clearly doesn't.

I am NOT glad these groups take over, though I guess I made the text quite convoluted to understand; in essence, I said "I am glad to see more chapters, but not under these conditions, even if it's better than it used to be"
Also, it was pretty clear I already alluded to everything being done through AI, I just didn't say "everything is done through AI, stop". In summary, what I said is "even though you're using AI to do it all, you suck at this, stop".

We are unable to upload to any other sites but our own after a lot of purging and staff quitting, two different ends of problems. If any one in the community wanna, feel free... Albeit for some reason our website doesn't have the download chapters option which I'll go talk to 'em bout
