Sora & Haena! - Ch. 9 - A Superior Human Being

I feel an urge about some details in this manhwa.
The thing is, they did the same as what happened in Tokyo Ghoul. It started serious, with an interesting character(Haena here) but then it became a dummy. Here, she got all that charming secretive thing at the start, but then, shows off as a dummy. An impossible dummy. "Do I need to do a test to go to college!?" Serious author???, how can you agree to write something like this... destroing a great story. Man, I got so pumpep up with the premise of a normal but charming Haena(Not dumb), And the author like, destroied the whole thing. Tokyo ghoul MC turned out to be a dumb dumb. It was so serious and captivating at the end of the first ep, but then.....sad. As a author yourself, would you write something like this? "I need to study to pass at college??" ?

I will only keep up cause of Haena being cute hugging sora, and hope that the author will fix this in upcomming chapters.

Stop with non sense. Dumb characters are cringe!



And yeah, this Jae in burned my motivation even more. Wtf, crazy girl?, photos of the sora everywhere, like wtf, non sense. Really sad author , really sad.

thank you for another fascinating chapter, I'm beginning to get more of a kick out of Jae, she a massive fan girl in serious denial. Do to her upbringing her mind can't process the concept that someone can out do or be better then her. Sure sometimes people can be her equal but in the long run they can't keep up with her and again in the long run she will be always be the only one on the top. So the idea that someone could be better then her is something she can't process and rather then seeing this as an opportunity to improve herself, grow, or try to beat her in other ways, I can't see Sora being to OP in the athletics department, she just fixates on what she considers an anomaly and since her mind can't handle the true she has to come up with an alternative answer by putting Sora on a pedestal. If Jae is the top human then Sora must not be human if she's able to surpass her the fact that Sora is an extreme introvert and Jae's own actions only cement this outlook. It also makes sense why she wants Sora to remain alone since Sora didn't originally pay attention to her despite how amazing Jae is if someone else were to get close to Sora and Sora were to acknowledge them that would mean some other mortal is better then her and that would wreck Jae's mind and self image.

Honestly I think Jae In characters is interesting and unique due to how socially inept and self absorb she is, but the moment there’s someone else above, someone that finally caught her attention, she cares in the most absurd way

Being a top of the school is a huge deal, but not enough to be called a genius. I knew several people that were gere getting excellent grades, but did sometimes pretty dumb things - there were some times when I explained the intricacies of a subject to them, despite faring worse.
Even more, you can still be genius if you fail some subjects.
