The cliche of the day is the "confess while fireworks drown it out" trope, a time-worn romcom classic. We even get a bonus second interrupted confession care of imouto-chan, and man that second one stings. Seems Kanae can see Ghost-chan too?

Dang, mangaka really do be playing it straight ticking all the classic romcom cliche checkboxes, huh. We were winning so hard these past 2 chapters, it was all smooth sailing (with so much handholding, oh my!) that the mangaka felt the need to slam the brakes.
